Lesson 3-7: What Now?

The 4-week rule

Before you do any sort of re-testing on your energy/fatigue levels, I want you to have implemented your new, personalized anti-fatigue nutrition plan for 4 weeks. It will take (at least) this long to help restore balance to your blood sugar.

During this time, feel free to repeat the experiment on any foods you think may be sapping your energy. Just follow the blood sugar tracking schedule I laid out on pg 20 of your companion guide. You can continue testing a variety of carbohydrate sources until you find out exactly which carbs and how much of each carb your body tolerates.

Remember, if your blood sugar reading consistently goes out of range after eating a particular carbohydrate source, your body does not tolerate it. This food is contributing to your fatigue. You need to remove it from your diet.

Did your energy improve?

After 4-weeks, it’s time to see how your energy has improved!

To do this, I want you to track your fatigue/energy levels using the same objective measurements you used at the beginning of this course. But here’s the catch, don’t look at your results from 6-weeks ago.

Print out pages 1-15 of your companion guide. Go through each test and make note of your energy. Then, compare your results to when you just started this course.

Did your energy improve?

At what times of day are you more energetic?

What activities is your fatigue most interfering with?

What’s the next step?

You’ve completed this product, altered your diet for 4-weeks, and increased your energy.

Now what?

I recommend you go through this product a second time.

Why?

Your nutrition plan is like a spiral. It’s a continual refinement. As you learn more about what makes you thrive you need to implement this data into your life. It’s the next iteration. Test your blood sugar again with your new carbohydrate sources.

Is your blood sugar in range?

If not, you need to incorporate even more fats (and fewer carbohydrates) into your nutrition. Remember, your nutrition is your foundation to overcoming fatigue. Before you move on to other fatigue treatments, make sure your nutrition is dialed. If you’ve followed this course, it’s likely one step closer!

It’s time now for your next iteration.
